The Desert Eclipse Mochila is woven in a refined palette of natural ivory, warm sand, and deep black, creating a striking yet timeless composition. The body features a repeating diamond motif arranged in clean vertical alignment, giving the piece rhythm, balance, and architectural clarity.
At the base, a bold sun-like star motif anchors the design, framed by concentric rings of black and earth tones. The contrast between the structured body pattern and the expressive base gives this mochila both strength and visual depth.
Woven entirely using the one-thread technique, this piece reflects a high level of technical mastery. This method allows for crisp geometry, precise color changes, and a dense, durable structure—hallmarks of advanced Wayuu craftsmanship.
