Description

Keystone is a study in architectural control.

Woven entirely using a one-thread technique, the design is built from interlocking stepped forms that shift direction across the body while maintaining perfect alignment. Each transition must be calculated in advance; once woven, there is no opportunity for correction. The geometry locks into place through exact stitch counts and unwavering tension.

The pattern extends seamlessly into the base, where mirrored motifs converge within a tightly controlled spiral. This integration is not decorative—it is structural. The base anchors the logic of the design, ensuring balance and continuity from the first stitch to the last.

Without metallic thread, the craftsmanship is fully exposed. Every line, angle, and intersection relies solely on precision, discipline, and experience. The result is a piece that communicates mastery through restraint rather than excess.

Finished with a handwoven strap, drawstring closure, and tassels, Keystone represents the highest level of Wayuu weaving—measured, intentional, and uncompromising.
