The Axis Weave – Citrine Ash is defined by structure, balance, and technical precision. Its repeating diamond pattern creates a steady rhythm across the body, while the circular base anchors the design with a stepped geometric motif—woven entirely by hand using a one-thread technique.
The color palette blends ash gray, taupe, charcoal, and muted citrine accents, offering contrast without loudness. Subtle details emerge the closer you look, revealing the time and control required to execute each transition cleanly.
This medium size is intentionally proportioned for everyday use while maintaining the complexity and refinement that distinguish one-thread weaving. Finished with a handwoven strap, drawstring closure, and hand-wrapped tassels.
Each mochila is handwoven by a Wayuu artisan in Colombia through direct, ethical partnership.
