Sahara Sky Wayuu Mochila
Handwoven by Wayuu artisans of the Ipuana clan in La Guajira, Colombia, the Sahara Sky mochila captures the meeting of desert warmth and tranquil blue horizons. Its diamond pattern blends shades of caramel, sand, ivory, and layered blues — a reflection of earth and sky intertwined.
Created through the one-thread weaving technique, this piece represents one of the most intricate forms of Wayuu craftsmanship. Every stitch forms part of a seamless whole, taking weeks of dedicated work and generations of inherited skill. Oversized tassels in chestnut, ivory, and azure add fluid movement and texture, while the woven strap mirrors the same palette for a harmonious finish.
A timeless expression of balance — grounded yet ethereal — Sahara Sky carries the calm strength of its origins wherever it goes.
