Ember Sol Mochila — Large (One-Thread)
Bold, grounded, and unmistakably powerful.
The Ember Sol Mochila is defined by its striking sun-inspired spiral base, woven in deep cacao brown, warm sand, and ember red. Radiating outward, the geometric body pattern builds rhythm and structure—each motif carefully placed through precise one-thread craftsmanship.
This piece is woven entirely using the one-thread technique, a time-intensive method that allows for sharper geometry, clean color transitions, and exceptional detail. The result is a dense, refined textile with strong visual presence and lasting durability.
Handwoven by Indigenous Wayuu artisans in La Guajira, Colombia, this mochila is finished with a wide woven strap and full tassels in complementary tones of red, sand, and brown—creating a balanced yet commanding silhouette.
Each mochila is a one-of-a-kind textile artwork, carrying cultural knowledge, technical mastery, and contemporary design in every stitch.
