This mochila is designated Collector’s Edition for its advanced one-thread construction, segmented concentric base, and the precise execution of circular motifs integrated with metallic thread. These elements require extensive planning, controlled tension, and a high level of technical mastery that only select artisans can achieve.
Description
Orbit is defined by rhythm and control. Repeating circular motifs move evenly across the body, creating a visual cadence that feels balanced, deliberate, and architectural.
Woven entirely using a one-thread technique, every element is formed through meticulous stitch counting and consistent tension. The circular motifs demand exact spacing and uniform shape as the structure rises—leaving no room for correction. Subtle metallic thread is integrated throughout the design, adding complexity while maintaining restraint.
The base features a segmented concentric construction, where alternating bands radiate outward with precision. This foundation must be planned from the first stitch, reinforcing structural balance and anchoring the pattern above.
Finished with a handwoven strap, drawstring closure, and tassels, Orbit is a refined, collectible piece that showcases mastery through precision rather than excess.
