The Terracotta Sun Mochila is defined by its rich clay-orange body, woven in a continuous, uninterrupted field of color that feels grounded and bold. The solid exterior allows the craftsmanship to speak through texture and form, creating a striking balance between restraint and statement.
Woven entirely using the one-thread technique, this mochila reflects a high level of precision and control. This method produces a dense, structured fabric with clean edges and a refined finish—hallmarks of advanced Wayuu weaving.
The piece is finished with a wide woven strap featuring subtle patterning, and braided drawstrings with contrasting tassels in turquoise, sand, and orange tones—adding movement and visual contrast without overwhelming the design.
